| SOURCE 5 is an EEG and ERP source reconstruction tool with the critical features and functions for dipole source solutions. SOURCE 5 is provided as a standalone package which is cost effective and powerful. Further, it allows a natural upgrade path to the most advanced source reconstruction using CURRY. SOURCE 5 utilizes the same software code, computational algorithms and interface design as the most advanced reconstruction package, but provides a more efficient and straightforward workflow, by limiting the features and options. Providing the critical source reconstruction tools and a simple workflow to process data, SOURCE 5 maximizes efficiency of both time and money.
This makes this software uniquely suitable for labs just learning source reconstruction to advanced reconstruction labs that are looking for improved workflow. Packed full of tools to increase efficiency and proficiency in source reconstruction, MRI data import and display of results, SOURCE 5 offers ease of use and maximal flexibility, more information and more options than ever before.
Functional Data Import
Data File Formats File format and parameter autodetection for MEG Sensor Geometry Automatic recognition of sensor geometry for 4D Neuroimaging,CTF, Neuromag, and Philips systems. The definition of other or new systems is possible using montage files. Magnetometers, gradiometers (1st and 2nd order, axial and planar), planar, quasiplanar, and helmet systems. Virtual gradiometers / online noise reduction are not supported.
Functional Data Display
Time Domain Channel or butterfly plots of raw and averaged data. Autoscaling or manual scaling. Channel selection. Display of MGFP. Montage editor.
Frequency Domain Channel or butterfly plots of spectra. Autoscaling or manual scaling.
Mapping Contour line or map display in 2D projection or 3D. Autoscaling or manual scaling.
Functional Data Processing
Re-referencing Support of reference sensors whose location is known but that are not contained in the data file. Common average reference. Rereferencing to a given sensor. No reference (raw). MEG common mode rejection.
Averaging Trial/epoch averaging for all or selected trials.
Filtering Fourier filters, notch filter. Adding of noise.
Noise Estimation Noise estimation from low signal or user defined latencies. Computation and display of noise covariance matrix.
SNR Transformation PCA and ICA show SNRs for easy estimation of the component significance.
Principal Component Analysis PCA / SVD for selected latency range. Display of singular values, associated patterns, associated time courses. Spatio-temporal filtering by selecting a range of singular values.
Independent Component Analysis ICA for selected latency range. Display of independent component strengths, associated patterns, associated time courses. Ordering of ICA components with respect to their importance. ICA filtering by selecting components.
Digitizer File Formats Any column-based ASCII format with or without sensor labels can be used for electrode and landmark coordinates. Supported length units: mm, cm, m, and inch. Landmark-based co-registration of sensors and anatomy. Computation of single equivalent current dipoles, moving dipoles, rotating dipoles, regional dipoles, fixed (coherent) dipoles, and fixed (RAP MUSIC) dipoles.
